IS IT DANGEROUS TO BREED A MALE COCKER SPANIEL AND FEMALE POMERANIAN? (CHOSEN AS BEST ANSWER)

QUESTION:

would it be hard on the female pom to carry and deliver these pups?

JOHNNYDOLLAR ANSWERS:

Yes. This is very dangerous. But it can be done, if you know what you're doing. It is a well known fact that halfway through mating, a Cocker Spaniel will devour the head of it's mate. A few precautions should help curb the problem.

1. Put a cone around the Pomeranian's head. This will act as a barrier.
2. Put a muzzle on the Cocker Spaniel.
3. Don't be afraid to get your hands dirty. With all this added equipment, the dogs can get bashful. You can stimulate them both with your hand to get the party started.
4. Have fun with it!
